IAV Dragoon

The universal control unit for prototypes

The universal control unit for prototypes and small series for use in a wide range of industries - development, production and delivery from a single source.

IAV Dragoon continues IAV's long tradition of developing control units

Based on years of technological experience, IAV Dragoon can be used for a wide range of applications. Flexible assembly variants or customer-specific hardware adaptations allow IAV Dragoon to be cost-effectively tailored to the respective area of application.

Applications ranging from classic gateways between various bus systems to complex vehicle control systems that take functional safety and the latest cybersecurity standards into account can be developed easily and efficiently.

Thanks to numerous CAN interfaces and Automotive Ethernet, it is possible to represent modern networks of the current vehicle world.

The AUTOSAR basic software (IAV Saar) used makes it easy to efficiently integrate different application functions (including customer functions). A Simulink interface is also available. Due to the broad domain expertise (e.g. ADAS, e-mobility, chassis) within IAV, a wide range of functions can be made available.

The combination of necessary hardware and software must be evaluated in advance on an application-specific basis. In the project context, IAV creates and delivers the complete solution tailored to the customer. Please get in touch with our sales contacts in this regard.

Applications

Vehicle Control Unit (VCU for electric and fuel cell vehicles), Body Control Module (BCM), Automotive Gateways (CAN FD, LIN, SENT, Automotive Ethernet), Secure Gateway (HSM inside)

Possible areas of application

Commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery, special vehicles, marine, sports and luxury cars, power storage applications (Second Life)

Standards/ norms

Delete ASIL B & production, IAV AUTOSAR basic software (incl. Safety & Security Lib.), LV124 (must be tested on an application-specific basis), CE certification, ISO 26262 (Safety), ISO 21434 (Security), ISO 15504 (ASPICE)

Technical data

Technical data

For many years, IAV has seen itself as a developer and supplier of sophisticated electronic products in small and medium quantities. Customers benefit from a special feature: IAV combines development expertise for large series with manufacturing expertise for small series.

Configurable mainboard

The current generation of devices can be manufactured in small quantities by flexible manufacturing partners and in larger quantities by partners who are certified to the usual automotive standards (IATF 16949).
