„Katja Ziegler has informed the IAV Supervisory Board that she will leave the company at her own request. I regret this decision very much, because the cooperation has always been very trusting, collaborative and successful. She has not only actively kept the company on track and profitable in times of extraordinary economic upheaval. With a clear focus on working capital management, she also ensured that the company invested in new technologies and growth-generating business models in a disruptive market environment. On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, and also personally, I wish Katja Ziegler the best of luck and success on all of her future professional endeavors.“
Dr. Nikolai Ardey — IAV Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Katja Ziegler has been with IAV since 2010 and held various management positions in the finance division during this time, most recently as CFO and Managing Director of the IAV Group.
As CFO, Katja Ziegler both generated and implemented important initiatives for the development of the IAV Group into a Tech Solution Provider. Under her responsibility, the company undertook a comprehensive strategic realignment of the IT department and corporate security, in addition to the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies.
Most recently, the finance division focused on establishing the international IAV partner network as well as the strategic location development, both of which Katja Ziegler successfully oversaw.
As successor, the IAV Supervisory Board has appointed Martin Mahlke as new CFO and Managing Director.
„With Martin Mahlke, we were able to add a proven expert and financial strategist to IAV. He will use his international experience and expertise to benefit the company and continue the internationalization of IAV together with our CEO, Dr. Uwe Horn. I am looking forward to working together with Martin.“
