- Automated planning of medium-voltage grids: IAV Optera enables fast and simple planning of high-performance power grids at optimized overall costs.
- Consideration of the existing grid (brownfield planning): The software takes the existing power grid into account during planning and suggests suitable expansion and conversion measures.
- New planning independent of existing structures (greenfield planning): IAV Optera can also plan completely new grid structures, independent of established structures.
- Application of high-performance algorithms: Using automated high-performance algorithms, suitable structures for medium-voltage grids can be designed and their electrical parameters determined.
