The new TeleDrive Flex platform offers the solution for future challenges posed by the Cyber Resilience Act. Completely developed at IAV, the new generation of touch control terminals also supports your functional safety requirements for display and control functions. This allows them to be designed slimmer, clearer, and in a more user-friendly way.

The TeleDrive Flex platform is designed and developed for robust use in all industrial sectors. Our displays can securely display high-resolution camera and multimedia signals as well as safely transmit control signals to the numerous actuators in the machines.

Whether installed individually or as a set of main and slave displays, various display and control concepts can be implemented, offering optimal preparation for your applications.

The high-resolution, high-brightness bonded displays of the TeleDrive Flex series offer a uniquely brilliant display surface for intuitive and modern HMI applications. If needed, we can also implement hypervisor-based system environments to fully meet your requirements for secure application structures.

Flexibility

  • generic high-performance platform for display and touch control terminals. Seamless integration into your cabin conditions (A-pillar, armrest, etc.) possible
  • standard with 11.6" display (Full HD) or 9" display, other display formats possible
  • two different system variants possible:
    • all-in-one system with touch display and application processor (master display)
    • pure display solution with touch display only (slave display)
  • up to 3 additional external slave displays with different resolutions can be connected to the master display. The master display provides the video data for the connected slave displays.
  • functional safety can also be realized with the external displays
  • up to four digital cameras can be connected to the master display
  • up to four camera images can be decoded and displayed simultaneously
  • separate phantom power supply for cameras available for independent power supply of the TeleDrive display

Robustness

  • designed and developed for use in extreme and harsh environments
  • operating temperature range from -30 to +70°C
  • vibration and shock resistance according to ISO16750-3 grade 2, meeting the requirements of the agricultural and construction machinery industry
  • EMC requirements such as radiation resistance and radiation minimization according to OEM-specific standards
  • complete metal housing and bonded display for optimal thermal resistance and necessary cooling of the electronics

Functional Safety

  • prepared support from the HW and SW system base for the possibility to implement functionally safety-relevant applications
  • secure display of information using symbols or static screen content
  • operation of safety-relevant machine functions via touchscreen, allowing savings on otherwise additionally necessary buttons/switches, etc.
  • correct output of warning and alarm tones
  • information is transmitted between the control terminal and the machine via a CAN bus, which represents the system boundary
  • based on selected cameras, video streams can be displayed under aspects of functional safety
  • for all described functions, a safety integration level of AgPL/PL=C (ISO25119 / also ISO13849) or ASIL=B (ISO26262) is possible
  • audio functions are supported with AgPL/PL=B (ISO25119 / also ISO13849) or ASIL=A (ISO26262)

Data Security
