Many test and trial tasks on engine or component test benches require multiple, freely programmable injection or ignition events. Standard control units prove to be unsuitable for this task: This is because they are tied to specific angle systems, can only perform one or a few injections per working cycle, require a specific control unit environment, cannot control the desired injectors or do not run on every angle sensor.
IAV KIVU (formerly IAV FI2RE) enables flexible control of all crank angle synchronized components. It offers multiple injection as required and a wide range of trigger options for solenoid valve and piezo injectors as well as ignition modules and ignition coils. Rail pressure pumps, camshaft actuators, throttle valves etc. can also be controlled. The flexible angle system can be used with different sensors and signal forms.
This makes the IAV KIVU the ideal tool for the most diverse and demanding development tasks.
